If the User decides to sign up for an account in an effort to utilize the features in which require an account, Ten Eight TenEightStudios© collects the users email address, username and password which is encrypted on the server. If a User decides to submit feedback using the in-app form, TenEightStudios© collects the email address in an effort to reach out from a designated @heatbuddy.app email address to collect more information if needed. While not required, App Store Reviews help the application in addtional reachability and visibility to additional potential users. With that being said, if a User decides to leave a review TenEightStudios© retains the right to use the review, and the reviewers App Store Review username which is displayed publically.
HeatBuddy utilizes Apple MapKit which allows access to Core Location Services if the User authorizes HeatBuddy to do so. HeatBuddy does not log your location nor does it log your location input data that a User may search with. You can check your location settings by going into your System Settings -> Privacy -> Location Services and selecting HeatBuddy to determine the current setting and adjust it accordingly.
HeatBuddy currently uses RevenueCat to allow users to tip the development team if they see fit. HeatBuddy and TenEightStudios© does not own or operate any services related to RevenueCat thus, Users understand, and agree that HeatBuddy and TenEightStudios© assumes no responsibility for their content, privacy policy, data collection or practicies. Users are urged to review RevenueCat privacy policy to learn about their specific service.
HeatBuddy may update or change this policy as they see fit and will make every effort to alert you that this information has changed. However, the user accepts the responsibility of remaining up to date with the current Privacy Policy. At the end of the day, I am human and I am a friendly person who is not trying to steal your identity or use your information in any type of malicious fashion.
